Drink Covers Acceptable Formats
Drink Covers design acceptable formats: This information is to assist you in preparing designs for your Drink Covers as well as outlining the technical requirements necessary to produce and submit your designs.
We provide two types of Drink Covers services:
Customised Trade Service ( Min order 200 units): Customised Drink Covers are printed on litho printers.
Personalised Service (Min order 200 units): Personalised Drink Covers are printed digitally.
Drink Covers are circular, paperboard glass covers with a 100mm diameter. There are three die-cut tabs that can be used to attach Drink Covers to drinks glasses and a number of criss-cross die-cut lines in the centre of Drink Covers to allow access for drinking straws.

Customised Drink Covers:
Customised Drink Covers design area for logos and messages is 90mm diameter bleeding to 110mm. Always add 5mm extra bleed to a 100mm artwork to allow for printer's trim marks. The bleed area must be a plain colour or white.
Personalised Drink Covers:

Always check your designs
Our Customised and Personalised design service and prices assume that artworks are supplied to our specifications in formats we can read. To avoid delays and additional costs for extra proofs we recommend that you check your design thoroughly before submitting it. Files sent to us containing designs should be ready to print.
Copyright: All reproductions, artwork, logos, images and emblems supplied to us for printing on Drink Covers are accepted on the understanding that the customer is either the copyright holder or has the copyright holder's permission to reproduce the materials.
Help with designs: If you have an idea of what you want, but do not have anyone to create the design for you, we can help. When placing your order for Drink Covers you can send us your brief and we will create the design for you. We charge a fee for creating designs.
When we create your design, we will email a colour sample to you, this will not be colour accurate, but it is to ensure that the elements are in the correct position.
File Formats: We accept files created on both Mac and PC.
We accept artwork created in the following programs: Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe InDesign, Quark Xpress.
We accept files in the following formats: Pdf; Jpg and EPS
Convert all colours to CYMK: Logos and images must be saved at 300 Dpi print resolution. (Dpi is dots per square inch).
Logos and messages should be supplied as vector Eps, if this is not possible they should be supplied as a high resolution (300 dpi) Pdf, Gif or Jpeg, preferably on a transparent or white background - always remove background colours and images. Leave 10mm white space around a logo or image.
Colour: All Drink Covers are printed in CYMK. However, where an exact colour match is critical - use Pantone colour reference numbers - then please contact us to discuss your requirements as this may incur additional charges.
If a colour proof is vitally important there will be an extra charge for providing this service. Colours vary on computer screens depending on the screen settings.
Use appropriate fonts and font sizes - (do not use pixel sizes) and attach copies of the fonts being used within your file.
If more than one design is being submitted we require one composite for each design being supplied. It is recommended that you send each design in a separate folder/zip.
Logos: Logos and images can be supplied by email or on CD and must be at least the same size as the required finished size on Drink Covers. Do not supply smaller logos and images than the size you require printed on Drink Covers.
Letterheads and Inkjet prints of logos and images are not suitable to achieve the best results.
